Sherriff Amenity Continue Education Programme in Orlando
A party of Sherriff Amenity customers, delegates and staff from the company and sponsors Everris recently attended the Golf Industry Show in Orlando which followed the company’s education programme at BTME in Harrogate.
The group for the trip was made up predominantly of course managers from the UK, the group was joined for a day of technical seminars by Jim Croxton of BIGGA, Mike Finney from BASF, Dr Simon Watson from Syngenta, David Malloy from OGT.
As part of a full five day agenda the group visited the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes which included a tour of the facilities hosted by superintendent Andy Ragsdale who also gave an insight of his day-to-day duties and how that might differ from the UK.
The group also visited the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando for the Golf Industry Show (GIS), where they viewed the products and services on offer. Visitors to the show not only came from the US but also further afield from Europe, Asia and South America who were all looking at the latest technology available.

Everris and Sherriff Amenity were hugely impressed with the quality and professionalism of the group which represented many of the UK’s leading resort golf groups and it’s safe to say that many friendships were made along the way which will no doubt benefit working relationships in 2014 and beyond.”
